Who needs a good excuse to treat themselves to a frozen custard? Well, apparently I do! Life has been busy and I haven’t had much fun recently. Hard to admit, but true. It is time to stop and remind myself what is important. I think on August 8, a trip to Freddy’s for some frozen custard and some fun time with my husband and son is going to be a top priority. I’m a wife, mother, homemaker and employee. Like many people, I find myself wishing my life away. I play the game – ‘It will be better when I get the housework done, after I complete this project, as soon as I have a vacation,’ etc., etc., etc….. Well it is time to stop. Join me as I begin the journey to live in the moment and enjoy everyday. It’s time to stop just being busy and start living. I intend to challenge myself to try new things, take care of myself, spend quality time with my family, and find joy in everyday! I’m not perfect, and I don’t intend to become perfect. My goal: I want to learn to live in the moment and have fun.
